no because the average speed of cheetah is 45 miles per hour in two seconds while the world's fastest human can average 23 miles/hour in the 100 m dash

depends on if the race is a sprint or marathon. Cheetah wins the sprint easily, but loses a long marathon

over short distances, not a chance, but you might have a shot over a long distance. cheetahs can sprint but I've heard they can't maintain a sprint for very long, and then their speed drops drastically. don't remember where I heard this so I can't promise it's reliable, but it seems cool.
