I often wonder.... why do the bottom-feeding lower classes of society (and I do not necessarily mean the poor, I am refering to the human waste in the world, you know who they are) think and act like they are entitled to anything?

If you don't pull your weight in the world, I think you need to fall out. If you can't support yourself, you shouldn't have 4 kids, then cry because welfare payments don't enable you to get a new car and live in a nice house.

Why are people who choose to live in a place that is frequented by hurricanes DEMANDING cash 'aid' a year and a half after the event? It's not asked for, it's DEMANDED.

Thoughts?

Ok people check this out:

If you PLAN AHEAD, and possess enough ambition, you WILL NOT become the 'beggar on the street', or the hurricane victim. Save your $$$ instead of buying Natural Ice and a PS3.

People are poor because they WANT to be. If the gonernment stopped the handouts, you would see most of these 'victims' suddenly get up and contribute....because they HAVE TO!!!

It takes a lot to get rich, but it doesn't take much to NOT BE POOR.

I'd like to know why I, as a childless person (mine's grown and has his own kids now) should pay for anyone else's kids, i.e. school tax and the like. Your kids, you pay school taxes.

Not that I do, but some day I might have to.

I agree with you partially, to me hurricanes are somewhat unpredictable..i live in miami and we get strong hurricanes once in a while..for example, hurricane katrina hit here as a category 1 or 2 i dont remember..it caused alot of damage...and by seeing the damage from New orleans here in miami they should have gotten prepared or left..dont get me wrong..most people did..they just werent prepared enough..they didnt know the bridges would fail and flood the city...i believe in a way..new olreans was like noahs ark...new orleans was overidden with people who do voodo and stuff like that...i think it was a way to get rid of them..the people who are asking for help now are those of which cant get help any other way...those who lack the education and those who lack the strength or the ability..like the high school drop outs with kids or the elderly or disabled are the ones who should be asking for help..and they are! people who get caught up in a natural disasters should not be critized..the people who get me mad are like the ones who want public housing..like here in miami some (not to be racist) group of crack head blacks are complaing because they want better public housing..hey guy! you want better housing..go to school stay off the crack...get a job...and buy a house that is worth more than your car and the rims on it...people chose want they want to be..those who work hard and accept change will get to where they want to be..nothing is impossible

yea, all I l know is that I was born into this world and there were fruit trees everywhere. But, because people like you decided to cut them all down and plant the seeds on your own private land - to sell them back to me.... Yes, you see! Its people like you that are the problem with this world. Greedy " F "

What if I don't have any ambition? Because I don't! Give me shelter, food, and friendship... Thats all I need. When I was a worker, I had the shelter and food, but no friends, only cut-thraots. Now, that I am homeless I have it all. Homeless people are the friendliest best people in the world!

A contest of wills exists within society. Every individual has the right to feel entitled . . . even if he is criminal, it is his lot in life to do as he will. Even for those who are law-abiding, the desire for a nice house is reasonable, it is a human right to possess housing. Not every human being is highly intelligent or informed as to the consequences of irresponsible childbearing. Not every human being chooses where he lives. If he was born where hurricanes strike, and his parents and his grandparents live in the same spot, his family might mean too much to him for him to leave for fear of natural disasters. You condemn those who are trashy. Why not tell us how you lucked into being high class?

Some low-class people were raised by trash, and some were raised with silver spoons in their mouths.

You are forgetting about the poor mom on welfare--who until last year had a live, working husband--and now does not.

The person who sleeps on a park bench who became unemployed due to downsizing in his or her company.

You forget about ageism, which forces older people out of work into poverty.

The victims of natural disasters, such as the hurricanes, do deserve help--they are victims, not the enemy.

Actually you have it backwards....it takes a lot to be poor and very little effort to be wealthy....if you look at the social ladder you will realize that there are at least 5 steps to climb to become ultra rich....from middle class to wealthy is only to social steps..the working poor and those in absolute poverty have at least 4-5 steps in one live time to bear...so you see it really is more demanding to pull yourself up from poverty...not to mention those in middle and upper middle are afforded resources that the poor are no and will never be afforded.....so you really should do a little research on how social classes work before you make bias and selfish statements. Have a nice day

I think you are ignorant. There are alot of "bottom feeders" as you so eloquently put it out there because they have suffered at some point in their lives. Some are the victims of tragedy, some are lower class simply because of the family they were born into, some are lower class because of where they live and lack of opportunities. There are all sorts of reasons why people end up down and out. Alot of people who do have 4 kids aren't raising them alone because they want to. It's usually because the person they had the kids with walked out on them leaving them in a terrible disposition.

Most people in the lower classes don't expect to have everything, they just want something. They work their butts off just to scrape by because they couldn't afford a college education to get themselves a good paying job. Not everyone has access to money for higher education and opportunities you apparently had. Some people aren't able to pull their own weight because of health issues. I have a seizure disorder so should I fall off the face of the earth? It isn't my fault I have seizures but it keeps me from being able to drive or work. Does that make me garbage???
I have to stay at home with my children while my husband works...he has to help me out around the house so am I useless because I can't go out and work?

Those people from Hurricane Katrina are deserving of money for their losses because they were victims of circumstance. Most insurance companies aren't offering anything to them because it was a force of nature that caused them to lose all of their belongings. If our government wasn't so focused on destroying other countries and getting involved where we don't belong to begin with we could help our own people out. Those people demand help because when they were needing help from the government after the hurricane, our president made little effort to help those people...

Shame on you. You are an embarrassment to humanity.

you should embrace communism comrade. you are thinking too much "one to ones own ability". i hope you go poor and somebody kicks you in your beardy-man face when YOU are begging for pennies, and says to you "If you don't pull your weight in your shack, I think you need to move out. If you can't support yourself, you shouldn't have 4 shirts, then cry because welfare payments don't enable you to get new underwear and have a nice 'drop my pants for money' sign". YES THATS WHAT I HOPE SHOULD HAPPEN! LONG LIVE THE REDS!
