Cropped jeans or cropped pants are the shorter ones. Some come above the ankle others come below the knee.

Crop jeans are stop right in the middle of your calves. The ones I see the most are the dressy, cotton, stretchy, flowy pants that could almost pass as a skirt. LOL Lots of descriptions!

Cropped pants are pants that are slightly shorter than regulation length.

They are shorter than normal length jeans, but a bit longer than capris. They hit right about at your ankle or a bit before your ankle, and really I think they look kinda awkward on.
