All-time I go with Ron Santo (should be in the HOF). He put up good numbers and played the game with passion.
All-time pitcher I go with Greg Maddux (will be in the HOF). Smartest pitcher EVER. From the second the ball leaves his hand until it hits the pitchers glove it is constantly moving. He has racked up 300+ wins living on the corner of the plate. One of the most durable pitchers you will ever see.
Current I go with Carlos Zambrano. Fiery young star who is on the verge of a Cy Young award. Overpowering and intimidating presence on the mound.

My favorite Cubs, top three position players: Murton, Theriot, and D Lee. Aramis used to be up there but I got sick of watching him jog to first base and rarely hustle.

Favorite pitcher is Zambrano without a doubt, and followed up by Rich Hill.

If you are NOT a Cub fan then don't answer. It is plain and simple for the people who have posted saying something stupid about the Cubs.

I'd have to go with a few...Hill then Murton..and I can't forgot Zambrano and Aramis aswell.

All those players are great but i would have to say Jacque Jones. Some people don't think so but thats my opinion. All-time = Sammy Sosa. Steroids or not this guy is great.

Aramis Ramirez. He is still young, incredibly productive (especially given the lineup surrounding him this past year) and does it very quietly...the way it should be done.
