Yes, he should be removed. That's ridiculous behavior on his part. It is okay for him to say that his child is not being educated properly and send the child to a private school, but he really should have resigned at the same time.

President Clinton sent Chelsea to a private school, even though he supported public schools. The same may also be true of this school board member. If the person is a GOOD member of the school board, that's the main thing, really.

My 2 college elderly little ones (15 and 5) attend the same inner most college I teach at. after we moved right here, my daughter changed into standard as a student, and that i changed into offered a practise position at a distinct college, that's truly prestigious. My husband and that i presumed it would want to be spectacular. however that's an all females college, and my daughter somewhat did not favor to flow there, and to be honest I favor to teach boys and females. So at the same time as my daughter were given standard into her cutting-edge college, and that i changed into also offered a position there, it changed into an uncomplicated decision. that's an recommendations-blowing college, however the perfect 2 years the recent instructors and new students are literally not too dazzling-I really have had countless incidents with horrendous instructors and scholars. The curriculum and campuses are incredible, however the employees and scholars have by marvel develop into somewhat awful, for in spite of reason. look into both faculties very heavily. in case you could flow to a dad and mom day, or open day then flow. Ask about the curriculum and classes, about student/instructor ratios, ask your son the position he feels maximum smooth. If worst contains worst and also you do sense you've enrolled your son contained in the incorrect college, save in recommendations you could replace!

It certainly is a bad political move. However there are two reasons people serve on school boards: to help children and/or to watch how tax money is spent. I am a teacher and I think both are legitimate. There is no legal reason he shouldn't serve on the board so I doubt there is anything you can do aside from campaigning against him next time around.

Yes, I think they should be removed at once with impunity. Find out the steps you need to take to remove them. There is usually a way to do this. Good luck!

If their child has special needs this should be considered. I would not consider bright child as an excuse but a child with developmental needs is a good reason to remove their child from a school they oversee.
