if i get some asian ps3 games and put them in a US Ps3 will they work....need to know cuz im planing on buying some

It depends on the game. If the game is region locked, then you can't play it on the US PS3, but if the game has no region lock, then you're good to go. I think most games are region free, so most likely you'll be able to play a Japanese game on a US PS3.

I agree with superdork. I've seen games listed on import sites like NCSX.com (National Console Support) that will tell you if the game is region free. Apparently, many PS3 games released in Japan (if not all so far) are region free.

No, the PS3 is region locked unless you can get a modchip (in a very near future).

yes... u neeed a seperate card for it which can be purchased at this site if u enter email. it should cost around 10 bucks

no unless it says region free on the disc. I would not recommend it at all.
