No, he is not my hero. He treated his wife with unbelievable disrespect and disgraced his children and family with his behavior. And while Marilyn Monroe was one of many "other woman" she deserved to be treated with respect, and he cheated her of that as well. Any man that treats woman (fellow human with such little regard is very low on the totem pole of respect much less "hero" category).
He became President because he was what the American people thought at the time was the best choice. I won't get into how old I am, but I have learned that in Presidential elections, there is unfortunately not a lot to pick from. That is why he won. Having said that, it is sad that anyone be killed by another man. But in the hero category, absolutely NOT!!

From strictly a own bravery attitude, that's what maximum human beings might want to call a HERO, definite he changed into. His torpedo boat changed into decrease in 1/2 with information from a jap destroyer at the same time as on a strive against operation and finally received the military go, this u . s . a .'s 2d maximum strive against ornament. If that ain't a hero, i do not understand who's.

He was a great president. He got the ball rolling on Civil Rights. He stood up to the big steel companies. He was strong on defense and took a stand during the Cuban Missile crises. He was young vibrant and positive. His assassination was a great loss.

My thoughts are that he died in 1963 and that Johnson gets the credit for the Civil Rights Act.

In the minds of many educated, intelligent people of BOTH parties, John Kennedy ranks as one of our foremost presidents and statesmen.

I don't really know enough about him to call him my hero. But he did do a lot while he was president. I mean any ones better than the one we got now. I want to see the movie "bobby" It might help educate me more on JFK!

Glad to see you don't live in the real world!
He wasn't my hero as he wasn't president long enough! I did like him though because he actually cared about people!

He's not my hero, but I imagine he did a lot more for American society than any president after him.
My hero is Eckhart Tolle.
