Strange period?

I take a low dose birth control pill to help with my acne. For the past 7days I have had a very light period all while I am still taking the pill. This is quite strange. I am going to the Doc tomorrow, but just wondering if anyone else ever experienced this?...

Is this during the active pills or the placebos?

If it's during the active pills, it is breakthrough bleeding. Breakthrough bleeding is normal and can happen occasionally; like if you take your pill later than usual.

If it's during the placebos, it's normal to have a light period for your period every month on the pill. Many pill users experience lighter periods after using it for a long period of time.
