I've got a new headset and the left speaker doesnt work on my pc?

but it does on my friends...What could be the problem?

Check if the audio output of your sound card or built-in audio is stereo, which means it will support the left and right channel of your headset or speaker if its not its either you change the headset or sound card whichever is practical for you.

Using your sound card software, check to see if the balance control is set to the middle.
