Scientifically, yes, the world will end some day. How? I believe we (humans) are doing an excellent job at destroying our only living environment. But I doubt that we will blow up our planet. I believe it will happen naturally. I also believe that there won't be any humans left to see it since we will have exterminated ourselves from the surface of the Earth before then.

I do believe the world will end. I don't think my generation will see it or even my kids' generation but I believe it is coming. The threat of nuclear war, pollution, changes in climate are all signs of a world that is deteriorating. The sad thing is that humanity is completely responsible for it's own demise should the world end...

My dad was a sailor during WWII. Back when I was small, he said that if there were ever another war, the world would end.
The latest predication that I have heard is that the world will end in the 3700s. Let's face it, though, we could be history any time whether due to war, natural disasters, or any other reason.

Yes the earth will end because we live off the energy of the sun, the sun is a star so one day the sun will turn into a white dwarf i believe and we won't be able to get solar energy to plant and live etc.. The gravitational energy that keeps the planets in orbit will be gone so earth and the other planets may spin off to a far off distant.

I have thought about it and have concluded that I am scaring myself over something that I cannot control all by myself. My personal power is limited to attempting change. Not a lot of point into investing energy into worrying or conjecture that does no good. I'd rather do something... anything... positive and productive. So I try to make the little hunk of the globe that I inhabit a better place...

Maybe it will someday but I really believe the human race will end sooner. I think the earth has much longer to go but we are killing ourselves more and more everyday. We can't keep going on like this.

I seriously believe that we humans will either screw up the environment so much that we die a slow and painful death, or the less likely option (though still quite likely) is that we will nuke ourselves to death.

I think it will take a long time
but it will eventually end
it will be from erosion.mud slides. hurricanes.
people killing each other and economy have all to play in this.
