I just think it'd be cool to be able to whistle really loud like that.

You will be surprised how easy it is, with a little practice...
Put your thumb and middle finger almost together,,, (make that just a little less than 1mm apart ) right on the tip of your tongue ( be you left or right handed, makes no matter) next, make like you you want to say "Ouwhischt", whilst simmultaeneously blowing quite brusquley, downwards into the cup of your hand, at the same time, your tongue will have to stay quite firm and arched in the whole process , giving a definite forward thrust of the tongue during the whole proceedure,,, all of which takes a second or so:-) You can do the same thing with your pinkies, only that takes both hands,,, you may be holding your beer or other fripperies in the other hand, thats why I gave you the practical one handed version,,,
Takes a little practice finding the right angle with tongue and fingers etc. Still, do perservere,,,, it is a most satisfying thing to do, in the appropriate moment..
P.S. Plus for the sheer joy of being able to bloody do it.....

my whole dang family can do it but i NEVER could.
maybe their lips and tongue is bigger than mine. i dont know.
