what works better. Capitalism or Socailism?
In my opinion, Socialist and Communist altogether has been a complete failuire and posed a threat towards humanity throughout human history.
While capitalism built great nations that protected the world such as America.

Anyways, whats your opinion.

Capitalism, is the economics's of greed, socialism is the economics's of sharing the wealth, and there has never been true communism anywhere in the world, except in small compounds. No one really knows if that would work or not. I think some socialism is necessary, we all pay taxes to pay for police, fire, ect. which is for the common good. But Capitalism is better because it causes many to succeed to heights that they would not have if everything was free. What I see in the future is a mix of the two in order to distribute the wealth without taking the incentive out of success.

Capitalism. There is a lot of accountability on businesses because when you don't like a product/service then they change RAPIDLY. You see they suit the consumer's needs.

With socialism, things are quite different. When the government controls the product(which by the way I do not know what they invented)/service, there is less accountability, as I understand. I know that when you don't like the service, the best way you can get your complaint out is through a polititian. Obviously, they occur for every two years in elections. Therefore, accountability is much SLOWER. They obviously waste more of your money than a capitalist(refering to earning your money).
However, my rule is if govenment involvement in something works, then they should continue it. If it fails, then it should get the hell out.

A little bit off topic is global warming. I hear those who believe in it say the government should be involved. I prefer that those "evil" corporations should take the lead in combating it. I don't exactly believe in fuel standards because when Toyota and Honda started build hybrid cars, others followed. As a matter of fact, they can expose what ExonnMobil has been doing with the "skeptical" scientists which was to fund them. Thus, those car companies and energy renewable companies are not only just doing that, they are also competing with those oil profit driven companies. However, as I said, government MIGHT need to be involved.

We should actually be demanding that big corporations to combat global warming more than big government.

Depends on how you define success. If success is to share with others and serve others, than capitalism by far improves the lives of many more. More wealth flows from US capitalistic economy than anywhere in the world. But if success is more recreation and time for family, than Socialism is best because there is a high quality of life in Austria with short work weeks, free healthcare long vacations. I like capatilism as the poor can be better served in learning skills at work and growing to success.

Those failures you speak of were not of socialism but of state-run capitalism. The fall of the Soviet Union in 1989 showed that free-market capitalism works better than state-run capitalism, however you cannot empirically analyze true socialism and capitalism side by side because one of the prerequisites to true socialism is overthrowing all capitalist systems.

Be that as it may, Marx believed that the abundance produced under capitalism as well as the migration of workers into large urban areas would set the stage for socialism to be sustainable once implemented.

accually communism tends to fail because power corrupts the powerful and they usually tend to end up monarchial. True communism and socialism has yet to be seen. And capitolism only flourishes through corruption and greed, america has only protected the world when it felt threatened, any thing else would be to expensive for the big wigs.....

What will work better is electing to keep your assalism. With dead birds dropping, bad water, bad air, earthquakes, tremors, floods, droughts, murder rates sky high, sun burst and cranked up cults eyeing you, your children and grandma, what will work better is to vote for (Assalism).
