I will admit that here in american sometimes the way we think is behind the way the people think. Here you have to deal with racism, discrimination and a lot of crime. But some reason here in America is where most people find the resources they need to make their dreams a reality.

You make a very sweeping statement, there. Do not think for a second that the whole country is like this. I've never thought of America as better than Europe. I think some of our people are better than some of your people, and it is vice versa from Europe to America. I have some very good British, French, Dutch, German, Ukrainian and Greek friends who are decent people, and I also have many good American friends.
Like I said before, not all places are alike here, just as not all places are alike over in Greece. People kill and kidnap other people all over the world.
But if you want a good impression, come visit me sometime. I liked Greece when I went there. Very good food, very friendly townsfolk.

People think america is better than europe for one of two reasons.
1. They live in america, and love living there. Since it is good, it must therefore be a superlative.
2. They've never been to europe and have no idea what it's like there, so they assume it's not as good as being in the US

There's probably more to it than that, though.

And wow, at that guy that put all that mess about turning greece into a parking lot in 10 mins.
2 words, pal. Athenian democracy. where would ours be without a successful example.

Americans think everything about them is better than everything about ANYONE else. It's always been that way. Guess we inherited that from the "British Empire". Plenty of historical blame to go around. Do we have any leaders (that's LEADERS) who have the guts to lead us out of our history into a truly new age?

Long Live America - what jingoistic crap! Bet you haven't the remotest clue about Greek or any other "non-:American" culture. Bet you think South Americans or Native Americans aren't Americans either! You simply prove the original point.

Greek beauty only 7% of Americans own passport. The quality of life in Europe is better that USA. Sadly Americans don't have much knowledge about what goes on outside the USA. They a very inward nation.

i ask your self if the presence of Christians motives higher crime charges, or the extreme crime charges reason higher Christianity, or if both elements stem from the same source yet are not causally suitable themselves. i should be extra probable to guess the latter, and say that both stem from a usual bigotry and absence of empathy for out-communities found in human beings better than Europeans. this may stem from the individualistic, "come the following and earn a fortune consisting of your man or woman 2 fingers, and no you'll inform you to percentage" mentality that has continuously been found in usa.

J.D: You are completely mental, dear. Have a Kool Aid and a box of Krispy Kremes. Europe by the way, is a continent not a country. Way to show your total ignorance of the world, you wanker.
