One of the very earliest CCG's. TSR's attempt to cash in on the Magic craze. They used a lot of art from their previous products, some of the best fantasy art around at the time. They had the power of the D&D name. Unfortunately they forgot one key element, actually creating a good game. Spellfire's failure is often considered part of the reason TSR went bankrupt. I don't really buy that argument, but it has been made.

Spellfire in an ability in the Forgotten Realms. Its the ability to tap into the raw power of the Weave. Its an interesting power but it drains the user and makes him/her the target of every wizard in sight. Also, it was a TSR, now Wizards of The Coast, card game. I'm hoping to find some cards soon. Maybe some Jyhad too.
