dont support abortion...support a womans right to choose.
don't support the death penalty....because have no right to judge others to their death. Think about it. they'll suffer way more living out their lives being big bob's bitc* in prison.

Then you haven't spent time with real liberals. All the liberals I know of are about PERSONAL choice when it comes to abortion, and most of us don't like the idea. Whereas with the death penalty we need to make sure that the person that's receiving it is truly guilty of the crime. There are too many innocent people that are in prison. A good example is the West Memphis Three.
Our legal system is broken and until it gets fixed so that those that have money and those that don't get equal treatment, then the Death Penalty needs to be the very last resort.

I doesn't make sense to talk about this as a left-right issue. Lots of people oppose the death penalty and are pro life. Treating this topic as one of left vs right will not lead to a useful dialogue or to learning about the issue.
In fact, Pope John Paul said that the death penalty is wrong in societies that have other ways to protect their citizens.
It is interesting things here is that more and more people oppose the death penalty because they believe it is an ineffective way of keeping us safe. They are coming to this position for practical, rather than for moral reasons.
Here are some of the facts about the death penalty that conservatives and liberals alike are paying attention to-
It is not a deterrent- states with the death penalty have higher homicide rates than states that do not. People who commit murder do not think they will be caught, let alone punished, that is, if they think at all.
The death penalty costs much more than life sentences. A great deal of the extra cost comes before conviction. There is an unmet need for victims’ assistance programs. (In my opinion, that is where we should spend the extra money.)
Life without parole is on the books in more and more states. It means what it says. It is no picnic to be locked up in a tiny cell for 23 of 24 hours a day.
Over 120 people have been released from death row with evidence of their innocence. In the overwhelming number of these cases, the evidence was not DNA. DNA is not a miracle cure for wrongful convictions. The exonerees had spent many years on death row before being found innocent. Speeding up the process would guarantee the execution of an innocent person. It is human nature to make mistakes.
Death sentences can be very hard on victims’ families. The process takes a long time and they are forced to relive their ordeal over and over again, in courts and in the media. Some murder victims’ family members have said that although they support the death penalty in theory, they do not want to see it in the case of their murdered loved one because of how the process affects families like theirs. Life without parole is swift and sure and rarely results in appeals.
Last of all, opposing the death penalty does not mean you excuse or coddle criminals who commit brutal and depraved acts. They must be punished severely. But we need to use common sense based on the facts, not to focus on revenge which accomplishes nothing.

They like to contradict themselves. Saying that abortion is mainly about a woman's choice is not only an incredibly selfish way of looking at it, it's also a lie. Life begins at conception, and abortion is murder. The baby that they kill is not part of the mother, it's a separate human being. They don't support the death penalty because that would mean that murderers can be punished, and since everyone who has an abortion is a murderer, theyy would be punishing their own kind. Why don't they support national security or enforcing immigration laws? They just don't care.

Liberalism is ok when it is practiced.
But todays America's liberals, are not real liberals.
They are against change of all types and devoid of new idea's or solutions to problems.
Conservatives offered many new programs and initiatives the last 6 years, and liberals always fought against them, with never an original idea or solution to offer in return.
Liberals love it whan a woman murders a child that is unborn but hate it when criminals who rape, murder and commit attrocities get the death penality.
In reality the liberals of today are Stalinists and Marxists. Their belief that government is the solution to all problems and no wealth show be privately owned is what drives todays liberals.
They are also anti-American. They believe America is the worlds problem and the world would be better off without America in it.
Liberals are all for forsaking the poor weak and downtrodden if America's military is involved in keeping them alive, but insist on keeping America's poor weak and downtrodden in their miserable existance because of 'political correctness', (New Orleans and any urban city).

What liberal says it's okay to have an abortion?? Just because your pro choice doesn't mean your going around forcing women to abort!! What a person is saying by being pro-choice is that it should not be up to the government to decide. It should be up to the individual.
In my humble opinion, the death penalty should not only apply to murderers it should also apply to child molesters!!

Pro-Choice Liberals do not believe that a fetus is a living being; therefore they do not see abortion as murder. Christians, on the other hand, are taught to respect all of God's creations big and small. THE INNOCENT SHOULD BE PROTECTED NO MATTER THE COST.

Because having an abortion makes you GOD and the state sentencing someone to die for murder in the name of GOD takes the power away from the individual to play GOD. An unacceptable circumstance for the liberal.

I don't know to which "liberals" you are referring, but I don't approve of abortion, and you can execute all the convicted murderers you like.
I doubt that the majority of Democrats support what you suggest.

Why do the religious right want to save fetuses, yet they send our troops to iraq to die for a lie? Now i know that not all conservatives are pro-life and pro-war, so why would you think all pro-choice and anti-death penalty people are liberal? Ignorance!
