You don't need to do anything. Even if he is gay, that doesn't mean he is attracted to you. It's a myth that gay people are sex maniacs and will hit on everybody they meet. There is no reason why your friendship should have to change in any way. If he does come out and wants to talk to you about it, just say ' That's cool, I'm happy for you, man' and change the subject if you're not comfortable. Good luck!

It shouldn't matter if he is your friend. What it boils down to is how comfortable YOU are with your sexuality. I've had roommates that took silly precautions...because they thought I wanted to see them naked... I've had other roommates that didn't care and would walk around in a towel.
Just because he is gay doesn't mean that he LIKES YOU! Straight guys think that just because a guy is gay he likes ALL guys and duh! obviously it's not like that. I'm sure you're not attracted to EVERY woman you see... Just be his friend.

Just treat him like a friend.....
Do you have any female friends who you don't want to get with? It's like that....you are roomates and friends....
If he is out, then talk to him about it sometimes.....you obviously have a lot to learn about other people.
And if you want a couple selfish reasons for getting along.....don't count it all a loss, girls like hanging out with gay guys, so you'll have opportunities for him to hook you up, also.... girls like a guy who is comfortable enough with his sexuality to be cool hanging out with gay guys, so you'll earn points without even trying.
