Yes. Open the case,m take the drive out, FDISK it, pull the battery and erase the CMOS, then pop the drive back in. The information for fingerprint will be gone, along with the operating system, etc.

If they can gain access to the bios and set the laptop to boot from CD they can reinstall windows, this would remove any paswords and fingerprint info.

If you have a bios password it would still be possible but to be honest they wouldn't bother as it would probably involve opening the laptop to clear the CMOS

Well they've probably got your fingerprints from all over your laptop. A roll of tape, some ink and a decent scanner will do that. Lets hope you've got a secure password!

yeah it would be childs play, they would just remove the battery to clear the cmos, so that would wipe any start up passwords, then they can just boot from a cd, wipe the hard disk and install an operations system.

Well I don't know about fingerprints but I would presume that they could just wipe your hardrive clean and go from there.

extremely easy.

your security measures only stop people accessing your files, which unless you encrypted them they won't even have a hard time doing that.
