It should have fallen off by the time she was a month old. Call your pediatrician.
Have you been bathing her or putting the rubbing alcohal on it?? Try not putting anything on it so it can dry up faster. With my son I put the alcohal on it 4x a day and it took 3 weeks for it to fall off. I didnt put anything on my daughters and it fell off by 11 days.

My son's umbilical cord was on a long time too. Turns out, I wasn't being as aggressive with the rubbing/cleaning. I was being very delicate, trying not to hurt him. Well, you've gotta rub vigorously. My dr. showed me and I thought it was too rough. But after I started doing it correctly, bits of pieces would come off and then, in a few days, the whole thing fell off. I'm not sure if you're having the same issue...but try cleaning it with some force, not a lot, just a bit harder. If that isn't the problem, you may want to call the nurse to get some tips. Good luck!

It is advised now not to use alcohol on the cord but use peroxide. It dries it and keeps it clean at the same time. But the cord should have fallen off a month ago. Have the doctor look at it. Your baby is coming up for it's first set of shots anyway.

Her umbilical cord should've falled off within the first month. Make sure you are putting rubbing alcohol on it everything you change her diaper. You should also talk to her pediatrician.

Go to your pediatrician and they will put some chemical stuff on the umbilical cord to help it come off! Same thing happened to both of my kids! Do not try to get it out yourself!!

That is a little odd; I would definitely call your baby's pediatrician and ask him/her. My son's cord fell off at 5 days, but I've heard it's usually about 7-10 days. I personally never used rubbing alcohol on it, and didn't make any special effort to scrub it while cleaning, and it fell off fine.

Try not getting it too wet it should have dried up and fallen off by now if it dosent fall off soon consult your doctor for the chemical to get it off or if you want to do it at home try to rub it good and get it good and clean and pieces of it will begin to fall out eventually and hopefully it'll all come out in a block and it should look normal if it dosent come off see your doctor don't yank it off just go to the doctor and find out if there is anything to be done

Maybe you are keeping it to moist. Put rubbing alcohol on it every time you change her. This is what a was told after my son was born and it took two weeks to fall off.
