so basically the title explains it all but i haven't had regular periods but i've add the odd bleeding here and there so i thought i couldn't be pregnant but then i got other symptoms of pregnancy such as headaches nausea feeling dizzy and fatigue then when i felt movement in my stomach i took a hpt n it was a fiant positive line so i took another and it was negative I'm doing another tomorrow but just wanted some more opinions especially from people who have the experience. I read that the feelings in my stomach could be gas but this feels a bit different and happens a lot more regularly especially when I am sitting or lying quietly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

there is no way you are feeling the baby move unless you are at lest 12-16 weeks along that being said i would wait and test in the morning with the first pee of your day that is when you have the most hbg levels and should get a correct result! good luck

Congratulations, it sounds like you are pregnant. It is very rare to get a false positive test. Many women have periods throughout their whole pregnancy (that is when we hear those stories about women who deliver but did not think they were pregnant.)

It depends on how far along you are. If you are 16 weeks, then you could very well be, but if not it could be something else. It could be your uterus expanding or very well could be gas (that's more likely the answer since many pregnant women can be pretty gassy.) Most people can't feel their babies move till at least 16 weeks, and most won't feel it till 18-19 weeks along. My doctor said that's it's pretty much impossible to feel a baby earlier than 16 weeks, and for those who claim they do, it's most likely something else (at 12 weeks, the baby is the size of a peanut, they are moving but you can't feel something that tiny moving.) At 16 weeks, it felt like my tummy was always grumbling, it took me a week or two to realize that was fetal movement.

I would definately make an appointment with the doctor. If you are far enough along, they can do an ultrasound to check to see that you really are pregnant and to see how far along you are. They didn't do any blood or urine (pregnancy that is) tests on me, the ultrasound was what confirmed my pregnancy. Good luck!!! How exciting to be pregnant, I'm 26 almost 27 weeks along and I love being pregnant.

if you are 4 months.. then your test would definitely come out positive. Especially since you say you feel baby movement. Then there would be no doubt for the test to ever come back negative. So honestly you could not feel the baby moving if your tests are coming back negative. There is no way. The test wouldn't be a faint line.. it would be a very dark yes line... so I don't think your pregnant. Unless you are under 4 weeks and that is why you are getting negative results.. which would mean that you are not feeling a baby move.... b/c trust me... i could take a prego test at 4 months and get a big fat positive.

When I would lay down I would swear that I felt my baby move and I had an u/s on Monday and they said that it was impossible to feel the baby that it was to small and I am 9 weeks. I was also told that no matter how faint the line, if there was a second line that that meant the hormone was in your body and that meant you were pregnant. I got a faint line on my first 2 pregnancy tests and I am pregnant. Good luck on your test tomorrow and I hope you get the answer you want.

You could be, I would take another test to be sure. But you can't feel movement by the baby until about 15-16 weeks (3/12 - 4 mts.). The fetus is too small to feel anything before then. It is more than likely just gas. Unfortunately, some signs of pregnancy are also signs of PMS (cramping, fatigue, headaches).

You shouldn't be feeling any movement this early if you are pregnant, the baby would be about the size of a grain of rice and basically cells forming together. I would definately take another test tomorrow or even better, get one done at the doctors.

Well, I felt my baby move that early. Especially if I was sitting or lying still, as motion rocks babies to sleep.

So, yeah, it's a distinct possibility. But, of course, it could be gas. I'd suggest making a dr's appt, just to be 100% positive. Because, really, that is the only way to be ABSOLUTELY sure.

Good luck.

I don't have personal experience, but supposedly you can have a false negative in the first week only, and never a false positive. You can feel somethin moving in your stomach? Go to a doctor girl, 'cause I don't know what to tell you!

sounds like you are pregnant. the probable reason for the wierd pregnancy tests could be because the longer your pregnant the less Hcg your body makes. congrats and good luck.
