I've been having periodic dizzy spells over the last two days (no fever or headache), and it just occurred to me that it could possibly be associated with those infections?

I've also had periodic lower abdominal pain (in the center), which feels like sort of a sharp (knives) but mild pinch every few minutes.

When I saw the nurse practicioner today I told her about the abominal pain (she sent my urine to the lab to verify the UTI), but forgot about the dizzy spells. But I'm more concerned about the dizziness than the abdomen...

Thanks in advance. :)

I f you have a UTI it is very possible that the infection could cause some dizziness, although it is more likely that you are experiencing some dehydration from both infections, and dehydration definitly causes dizziness. Try drinking more water. If this is not the cause of your dizziness, it wont hurt you. But since your have already been diagnosed with an infection, especially an UTI, increased water intake is definitely something you want to do.

I suspect the dizziness is related to your body trying to fight off the infections...but you should call and tell your doctor.
You likely are getting dehydrated somewhat.....when you have a UTI your body often attempts to wash it out of you...using up a lot of your bodies liquids....drink more water every time you have a UTI!

The sharp mild pinches are problably muscles spasms....having a UTI and a yeast infection at the same time could easily cause the muscles around your bladder and and pelvis to spasm.

I realize you aren't very concerned about the pain but when a UTI or yeast infection is bad enough to cause abdominal pain you need to be aware of the risks ....infections can do some dammage to the lining of your bladder....after your infection is cleared avoid acidic drinks to help give your bladder some time to fully heal.
I hope you feel better soon! A UTI or yeast infection is bad enough by itself...together is a struggle...the antibiotic to treat the UTI can make your yeast infection worse so I recommend a probiotic to help lesson that

When I had a very serious UTI which led to my kidneys I did get dizzy, infact I passed out. This happens because your body is metabolizing so fast that it uses up your water and electrolytes causing you to dehydrate faster, thus loosing blood volume and blood pressure. If it doesn't stop after the antibiotics are gone I would go back to your doctor.

UTI makes people stop drinking a lot, because of the pain associated with urination. Not drinking enough can cause you to have dizzy spells and headaches.

should have asked the doctor when you saw them not normally. this is a clearer sign of low blood sugar or high blood pressure
