i work in a warehouse, so they always look so bad, i scrub them all the time with a brush, but it doesnt help. what will bring them back to their original luster and make em look white again? they are very long and i dont want to cut them or have to always keep them painted. HELP????

Go get a professional manicure. Lots of men do it, just take a pass on the nail polish so your buddies at work won't hassle you.

Try soaking your nails in denture tablets. You know the tablets that people buy to soak their dentures. This was suggested to my daughter several years ago buy a beautician. She had discolored nails where she wore dark nail polish and wore it often and she asked her beautician and that is what he suggested she try. Also, buff the nail with a nail buffer. If none of this helps go to a salon that does nails or a nail place and have a manicure done. I am sure that will help and they could probably tell you something that will keep the nails healthier and nice looking. Try it it can't hurt.

lemon or lime juice brightens the nail. soak in it for 5-10 minutes them gently scrub them with something small like a tooth brush. expect results in as little as a week.

You should wear a clear coat of nail polish to protect your nails. Take care of them better and soon you will notcie a difference. Go get a manicure! You will feel al ot better.

I'm not sure how well it will help with the discoloration, but try buying a nail buffer, which will really help smooth and shine your nails, so they will look nice without being polished. :)
