Literally, I doubt it.
On the humanitarian level, I think that is generally the case... I love my family and friends very much, but "them", the "rest of society" gets on my nerves regularly. But we're all "them" to someone.

One can easily love the aspects that make up a thing and yet hate the thing itself. One can love individuals, but hate society. One can love paintings but hate galleries. It makes complete sense.
It also works the other way, one can love something/someone and yet hate the aspects that make them up. One can love their friends and hate their quirks or love books yet hate passages.

Oh yes, as one can love an individual person and not love mankind at the same time.
