I hooked up my Xbox 360 to my laptop which has a wireless connection, and when i test my Xbox Live connection, it says that the Network Adapter is wired, but when it gets to the IP Address it fails and says,"Your gateway did not respond to a network request." and some other junk. How can i fix this, ive been trying for the past 2 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????

You need to head over to the xbox live website and post on the forums. Microsoft tech support people frequently posted on them. Read the Faqs and guides may also help you solve the problem.

did you go into network connections select the wireless signal and the wired signal that is to your xbox, then right click and say merge connection or something like that
