Yes, actually there are many laws on the books to protect against this very thing.
"Battery" is the physical touching of another person.
"Aggravated" can be added to signify the violence of the attack.
Since she is pregnant the possibility exists of being charged with two counts since she is carrying a child.
The 'aggravated' part would be added making the crime all the worse and the police themselves would go out of their way to make absolutely sure this worthless piece of human trash is hauled in and taken off the streets for a very long time.

Kicking a woman in the stomach is illegal regardless of whether or not she's pregnant. Some states might have provide additional protection for pregnant woman or protections for the baby.

Any type of physical abuse can lead to legal consequences. If someone kicks a pregnant women in the stomach he/she is a complete jackass. If it's a family member it's called domestic abuse. That person can be fined, and can also be sent to jail depending on the severity of the injury inflicted on the victim. Kicking a pregnant women can lead to miscarriage. The abuser can also face two count's of domestic abuse, rather than one.

Uh, you don't have to be pregnant for this to be illegal dear. Anytime someone kicks a person in the stomach - it's battery.
If you are in danger try and get the D.A. to get a restraining order, that way even if he gets out of jail he'll have to stay a certain distance from you. There are a lot of domestic abuse sites on the web, find a support group. There are even some that will help you "disappear" if you are in grave danger. Good luck.

Of course. You cant kick anyone in the stomach. What makes you think you would be allowed to kick a woman in the stomach if she were pregnant or not pregnant? Even if you kick a man in the stomach you will go to jail.
Do you know someone this happened to? Someone needs to be calling the police.

The woman doesn't have to be pregnant for the abuser to be arrested and go to jail (if convicted). Pregnancy has little to no bearing, at least statutorily, in the vast majority of states. However, the jury may be more willing to convict due to that circumstance.

I would put the person who did that in a hurt locker like you wouldn't believe. My last three homicide investigations were all little children and I have a problem with people who harm them, A REAL PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!! There's plenty of laws out there and if you know of such a situation and don't report it, you're as guilty as the abuser. You bet they can go to jail. I put one away who sexually abused a 3 year old, but the parole board let his worthless butt out after a lousy 14 years. I hope I bump into him again someday.

If the fetus is old enough to be recognized as a human (24 weeks I believe but I'm not sure), then yes. But either way the abuser will get in trouble for assaulting that woman.

YES! The abuse of any woman is illegal in this country (United States.) If the child dies as a result, the abuser can be charged with murder. Are you, by any chance, the abuser?
Where do you live.......Saudi Arabia?

Any abuse is illegal. The abuser can most certainly go to jail, especially if the baby is killed.
