Well, just go to those websites and look at the jeans. You should probably go to the thrift store and buy a cheap pair to practice on. Just cut them and file them with a nail file.

Take them to your sewing machine and stitch a long narrow (about 1") rectangle around where you want the tears to be. Cut the jeans right thru the middle of the rectangle, also along the hem of the pants, and along the tops of the back pockets, etc., and wash them a few times to fray them. Dilute some white fabric paint, 1:1 ratio, in an extender (at the craft store), and, dipping a toothbrush in the paint, run your finger along the bristles to spatter your jeans "strategically" along the crease at the top of your leg in the front, the front placket of the zipper, and on the back pockets. Smear the center of the paint spatter a little with your fingertips to work it into the fabric a bit. Let the jeans dry for 2 days to set the paint, then rub the more likely to wear out spots with some coarse grit sandpaper. Wash again, this time with several clean tennis balls, or even a pair of white canvas sneakers, to age them a bit. Voila!

try first cutting the knees with scissors and then the ankle part but not so much 2 where theres just a hole. then put them through the washer like 5 times then cover a place up with newspapers and take a toothbrush and dip it into permanet paint of ur choice and sort of flick it on to the paints. keep doing that till it looks good then go wash them again but be sure not 2 use the type of washing stuff that prevents fading. after that, it will look the way u want it! :-)

I wouldn't go buying expensive jeans. If you have a puppy or a dog they'll rip them for you. lol just kidding but it does work When going for the paint splatter look I'd take a paintbrush dip it in the paint and splatter it on the jeans. Let it dry then when going for the bleach I would buy the Clorox bleach pen and let your creativity explore. Last when it comes to ripping find the weak spots in the jeans and give a good tug.
hope it works mine did

Make a tiny tear in them with scissors; then pull the threads around the area that you want to look torn .

i wouldnt reccomend that. it will probablly turning out looking bad and you will ruin your jeans, no offense. basically nobody can do this. just save up your money and buy them from abercrombie or hollister. i bought some on sale for like 30-40 dollars at abercrombie.

to rip cut a small hole and then just rip however much you want them. use sand paper to make them look worn. there is no turning back from bleach so i would avoid that.

Use a piece of sandpaper. or a blade, both work fine. Start small though cause you can't go backwards!
