Miep Gies was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1909 as Hermine Santrouschitz.
It seems she is still alive.

I'm 90% sure. She was a grown woman 50 years back. 50 + 50=100 I don't think that someone who survived the holocaust would still be alive now; at 100 years of age!
