Blue, I think, unless one counts black and white as colours. After all, the sky is blue, and so is the water that covers some 75% of the earth's surface. And blue is very common in clothing (jeans, for example) and adverts because statistically, adults generally prefer blue over any other colour. (Just as a side note, the 7 and under crowd almost always says red.)

Black, white and Grey are not colors they're shades. More than likely the most used color is Taupe or Khaki.

There are more colours of red paint than any other colour of paint... but blue is the highest selling paint colour in my store, probably because sky and water are blue...
(ok white paint sells the most, but white paint is used for mixing and rarely used on its own so doesn't count!)
