A person has told me that the arm of the statue of saddam from bagdad is in the usa & said it is for sale. This person told me special ops guys brought it here & one of them wants to sell it & I want to know if it is legal to buy & own such a thing.

The taking of any trophies is prohibited under General Order #1. The military member can be prosecuted as can Federal Civil Service employees. Contractors are in a grey area unless weapons are involved.

I don't know. But we pillaged Germany at the end of WWII.
But, we didn't slaughter and raped like the Russians did.
That was war crimes, that everyone overlooked, because FDR gave Russia much of Germany, and all of Eastern Europe.
Truman honored it.
