My car doesn't want back out?

It's a Mazda-Protege, year 2002, Automatic. I have to press hardly the accelerator. It goes well straight, but If I wanna make reverse, it remains in the same place, unless if I use the accelerator and it goes slowly anyways. What can it be?? Thanksss

yyou are using the wrong foot to press the gas, try using the other foot.
