yes because if minumum wage goes up then everything else goes up, food, places... everything and its not fair to take a minimum person who makes 6.50 an hour and a person who makes 8.50 an hour to have minimum go up and one be making 7.50 and the other still making 8.50

People who were making $1 or $2 more than the minimum wage will still want to be making $1 or $2 more than the new minimum wage. Employers will shortly recognize that in order to keep their employees from going somewhere else they will have to match the increase in minimum wage for their other employees. That is why many people are against raising the minimum wage because it can become very inflationary. As all these salaries go up, then the prices the companies charge consumers will have to go up to pay for the salary increases - so all of us get hurt in order to increase the minimum wage because we all end up paying more for goods and services.

yes i believe the wage increase should be adjusted proactively up to a cap...say 20$ an hour. So if your making 12$ you and they raised the min wage a dollar you would go to 13$ and this would continue up to 20$ an hour..ish. I think they should also have a bill passed stating goods and services could not directly increase due to this wage increase. the whole point is so people who cant afford to live, have a better chance to.

You know what is messed up? That things go up in prices but minimum wages stays the same. There should be faster intervention in raising the minimum wage. Do I think everyone's wages should be adjusted because of minimum wage? No, it is just the politicians way of making more jobs near minimum wage.

not only that , but when the minimum wage goes up on the people that are making it, the employer will just call that a raise no matter how long you have worked there.

It is a phony issue.
Democrats use it to try to fool people into thinking they care.
(In a few months, the people who have had their wages raised will still not have any more buying power. Because prices of everything will raise.)
