i'm a white girl but my best friend is black. Wee were watching a video about different cultures. We saw a clip of the KKK. We both know a little bit about them like that they are a white supremacy group and supposedly christian based but are there any interesting details that you can tell me about them?
We want to know wht we can do to stop them to.

The KKK has a long and horrible history in this country. They got their start during the civil war and are still out there.
You are taking the first step right now in stopping them. Educate yourselves about them and other groups that spread hate. Ignoring a problem or issue never helps. "If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem." When you hear people using racial slurs, speak up against it. Treat ALL people as you want to be treated. We can all make a small difference in the world on a daily basis. If enough people keep making small differences, it can become a big difference.
When anyone asks what race I am, my answer is always "human". There is only one race in my mind, the human race.

They are the most absurd "people" imaginable. They would merely be very amusing and pathetic (come on--men in hoods and sheets calling themselves Dragons and Wizards?), if not for the fact that they prey on innocent, defenseless people.
They have tried to go mainstream (in some parts of the South, they ARE mainstream), some of them removing the hoods and pretending to tone down their ideology so as to appeal to more people.
They're not only in the South... a friend of mine lives in the Boston area, and in at least one town up there the Klan used to hold rallies and parades.
Have you ever seen the inbred, toothless, deformed people the Klan attracts? Geeze, guys, for supposedly being the 'superior race' you really aren't doing a very good job!

All you can do is ignore them. You can't stop them. They have a right to free speech just like the rest of us. It's always been a mystery to me as to why some people have such hatred for other races. If you want to know more about them, go to your library and read up on them. Also, the History Channel has stuff about them on quite a bit.

The KKK is far from being Christian and I am offended that you think so. They are just a group of individuals who hate everything. They really don't care what color you are. They mostly are uneducated, racist bigots. You don't have to worry about stopping them. They are no longer of any power and are impotent.

If you want to put an end to them go study and start practicing how to build explosives. Join thier stupid KKK club and then at one of thier meetings blow them all to hell. That is if you want to stoop to thier level. Otherwise just like most of the others said just ignore them.

You can't stop anyone from voicing their opinion. I'm black and I don't agree with ANYTHING that say or do, but it's their right to say what they want. I just ignore them.
You should too, unless they get in your face, then all bets are off.

They are ignorant morons! Don't even waste your time trying to get rid of them, the inbreeding is taking care of that problem! They'll be gone soon!
