There have been rumors floating that CNN's Anderson Cooper is secretly being courted by CBS to be a full-time 60 Minutes correspondent or to possible replace Katie Couric on the evening news (her ratings are not doing so hot).

Thoughts? Would you like to see Anderson move to CBS or for him to remain at CNN?

Going to CBS would be a terrible mistake. CBS has been ranked last in the nightly news for years- even prior to Katie.

I believe CBS was trying to get Katie lovers to follow her- but Katie was good at morning fluff- Not independent valid journalism- b/c no matter what she reported you can see her own political spin. I think it would be the same with Anderson Cooper.

CBS is known for being very liberal, so you have to wonder about the validity of how they report- while true news lovers will watch CNN. I think Anderson would loose his viewers too.

The only way CBS go back to the position it has before is by hiring Anderson Cooper, and they are willing to pay for the move, so I think he'll go for it, the deal is almost done so it doesn't matter if I like it or not.♦
