If you want to enjoy your sexual life- get circumcised!

Alright- I come from a very conservative background. I really didnt know anything about phimosis until i was about 21. Before i turned 21, I had never seen the head- to me the head was an internal organ. To me, a penis was a long shaft with nothing that could be pulled back. The foreskin used to cover the entire length of my penis- and tapered pretty tight over the head. After getting educated about it all- i managed to pull the foreskin back one fine day and that led to a medical emergency called para-phimosis- the foreskin was stuck tight behind the head- constricting blood-flow to the head. After 2 days I got that operated and the foreskin was pulled back on top.

After 6 months of using ointments to try and loosen the foreskin over the head- the doctor suggested getting a circ. I researched a lot online and got operated within a week. The procedure took less than 30mins and was done using local anasthesia. (they dont knock you out completely- just numb your genital area). The following month was a little difficult- with minimal physical activity for a week after the procedure.

The head was very sensitive to touch and it remained like that for about a month. Once the sensitivity subsided- i couldn't have been happier.. I was now circ'd tight and also enjoyed about half an inch of extra length (the foreskin used to hold the shaft back earlier). Its been 5 yrs since I got the procedure done, and i am very happy with the decision that I made.

I have discussed this issue with 2 other guys i know who had the same problem and they too elected to get a circumcision. Trust me, it'll make it a lot better for you- you will NO LONGER worry about how to do it right again.

If you have questions about the procedure, dont hesitate to ask me. Plus theres tons of material available online.

Phimosis is not extra skin; it's when the skin is too tight to retract when you have an erection. Circumcision is almost NEVER needed for phimosis.

If the skin is already loose, then you don't need to stretch anymore. The scab is troubling, though. I think you need to consult a doctor about that at least. We here on Answers can't diagnose a problem we can't easily understand, even those of us who are doctors, which most are not. Don't be embarrassed--every doctor is used to looking at penises. You don't have anything the doctor hasn't seen dozens of times before. One caution--if the doctor suggests circumcision, ask what the alternatives are and then ask for a second opinion. A few doctors are very quick to snip, but it's YOUR penis, and you are the one who will have to live with the pain and disfigurement, so be sure you understand what else could be done before you consent to surgery.

Good luck!

Phimosis is a condition where the foreskin cannot be fully retracted. You really ned to talk to a doctor aboput circumscision as it sounds as if its causing you problems.
It wont stop you having children;
