Actually your best bet would be a PayPal account because that is what most people use on eBay. As for which level of PayPal you need depends on how much business you plan on doing on eBay. You can always start with the simpliest and upgrade if you need it.

You do not need a small business bank account if you are accepting checks made out to your name. You will need a business checking account if checks are sent payable to your company name.

A personal checking account is not a requirement for selling on ebay, but does make it easier to accept checks and money orders, as customers will not send cash through the mail. Depending on the number of checks you receive, it may be cheaper having a personal checking account instead of relying on check cashing services.

Accepting payments by PayPal may also be easier because your payments can be deposited electronically into your personal checking account.

Not a small business bank account. A checking account would help....how you gonna cash that check you get sent.
Alternatively is to open a PayPal account (but you'll need a credit card or a checking account).

No you don't need a banking account to sell on ebay.
You can sell and have people send you a check, bank transfer, postal money order, etc.
OR
You need to have a personal banking account for PAYPAL so clients who bought your items can pay you quickly, electronically. This money goes into you Paypal account. You have to pay Paypal a fee for this service. When you get a nice sum, you can have Paypal send electronically the sum you want to your bank account (takes 7 days).

No you don't. You just need to be registered at Ebay. My brother sells items on Ebay all the time and he says there's nothing to it. You only need a sign in name like any other website.

All you need is a credit card. If for some reason you can't get one, there are several companies that will list your item on ebay for a percentage of the bid.

No. You can use pay pal or other systems that tie in to a credit card. Ebay has plenty of info on their website regarding this.
