sorry if i was a bit vague, i mean i can download music but how do you put it on the ipod?

Right click on the music file where ever the file is stored i.e. 'My Music' then hover the mouse over 'open with' and select 'iTunes' or 'choose programme' if the iTunes option is not on there, it should then play in iTunes

Go to itunes.co.uk and download the program. Upon download completion go to itunes store, and your world of music starts there. Good luck. To upload music on your nano, connect your computer to the nano using the white cable included with your ipod. The itunes software will recognise it straight away you can drag and drop your new songs from there or create playlists and put them on your nano.

You can use itunes but you can also download and transfer the music from limewire.
