I have the opportunity to take fire science classes after school. They're free. I am going to become a firefighter after I graduate from high school in May.. Should I take the classes?

Yes, The US Forest Service, and State agencies, like CDF in California hire right from some of these classes. I like to hire folks with experience, and the classes will help. Just make sure you list them on your applications.

A very rewarding and honourable job to go into, take the class. We used to set the gas taps on fire at school, i don't suppose this should be recommended for your class though
