Why is the number 1.61 found so often in nature? Could this be used as an arguement for the existence of God?

Give me some examples, and show me it is proof. Does this ratio occur more than others? Does it confer some benefit?

The number is in the eye of the beholder. 1.61 doesn't appear particularly often in nature. It's rather rare. But on the occasions it does occur, it is because the nature concerned uses the Fibonacci series, a series which was invented to describe the way rabbits reproduce. It results from the way numbers add up, and isn't evidence for or against the existence of God.

Its not 'so often' for me who does Calculus and Linear Algebra. For me i'm more accustomed to numbers 0,1 and 2. Nevertheless,the frequency you encounter a number depends on what field of work you're in. Maybe you're familiar with series?Does the Fibonacci series ring a bell?As for evidence for god,well,i'm not an atheis though,the evidence for god seems not to be this one.It does prove the Fibonacci series though.
