AMAZING how someone with no formal education can burn through $113,000,000 in 4 years...broke, busted, and now in serious trouble. What a moron!
Their should be a reality TV show showing lottery "winners" 3-5 years AFTER they win big, and see what happens when you put big-bucks into the hands of people who have no sense of money(but a huge appetite at the all-you-can-eat buffet's...)

My own mailman had a cousin who won $5.5 million in the California State Lottery(another wholesale sham). His cousin disowned all relatives, bought a big house, Rolls Royce, etc. With three years...filed for bankrupcy, and then came begging back to the same relatives he dissed.

Oh, yes..."please play responsibly"...

Anyone remember "Our Schools win too!"??

Actually, corporate america got the tax break, and then it was matched by lottery proceeds...neat Enron-Style smoke/mirrors acounting trick, so the burden is placed on the backs of the working poor who are the majority of people buying these tickets.

Maybe a casino on every corner? Just like Wal-mart?

Nevada, the only complete gaming state, has a constitutional amendment banned state-run lotteries. Yes, our schools need help, as they all do, but the voters and lawmakers of Nevada have seen the misery that windfall winnings cause, and outlawed a state lottery. Instead of one fool winning the whole pot (multiple millions), thousands of visitors and locals in Nevada casinos win small to moderate amounts of money, thus benefiting our local community businesses where the money is spent. Why can't other state lotteries do this?
