Just give him time to cool down and when he seems in a better mood talk to him calmly about things and ask him to forgive you..... Tell him you love him and that if he wants another vehicle just let him get one.... I have learned to let my husband make decisisions even if i do not totally agree with him and guess what when he makes the wrong decisions he learns from it ! If i never let him do anything he wanted to do would he ever learn if he made a mistake???/

You have probably disrespected him and probably said something that insulted his sense of masculinity or manhood. If you called him names or put him down in any way, you should ackowledge that and sincerely apologize.
In the future, listen more and argue less, and definitely no name-calling or put-downs or yelling allowed. A man can only be persuaded by facts, and by stating how you feel about the situation in a calm, rational manner.

Give him sometime to cool down. You have apologized and that is all you can do. Let him have some space. He will get over it.

go away the jerk....and don't say you're sorry. you ought to assert, "Sorry I married you...i ought to have had greater efficient!" the guy is a egocentric pr_ck! sell off his a-s as directly as you could. you could constantly do the counseling course, yet he sounds downright abusive!! once I left my husband, an entire stranger stated to me one afternoon: "hi! How are you on the instant?" and that i cried, because of the fact I hadn't been taken care of that properly from my own husband! ultimate desires!

just go up to him and give him a hug. tell him you love him, and just let him know that something trivial like getting a new car shouldn't cause you guys to get so mad. maybe give him a little space first, but i think he'd probly appreciate the affection.

Allow him to be annoyed. He just needs time to relax and let it go.
