I sold my sled, got $2,000. I have the itch to get a Banshee, if ya dont know, its a sport quad Yamaha makes. Its a 2001, all together the guy has $18,000 invested. I have talked to him, he has the recipts and work orders to prove it. The machine is spick and span. Its pretty much double what I wanted to spend, but about 4 times better! Why should I do it (because thats what I want to hear)?

totally depends on the terrain that you will be riding.I live in west central NH and have endless legal riding from my yard, and the machine your looking at would be good for maybe 10% of the trails i ride on.I have a yamaha kodiak 400 4X4..goes any where.over the fender mud would swallow the banshee,a little snow and there you sit.The kids around here love the ride your talking about for tearing up the sand pits and the rail beds but they get totally stuck once the real fun starts.A good stock 400 will be virtually maintenance free, fun forever,go anywhere, cost 1/4 what your talking about and be all the fun in the world

Word to the wise, do not take a banshee woods trail riding....it is not fun and it increases your chances on dieing sooner lol but it is a badass quad. If hes selling it at a really good price buy it, and you can always sell it

I would look more at if you have a place to ride. Sounds like the Banshee is setup for the track. Riding it in the wood is going to suck.
