If you give two cents but they only pay for one.

You answered too much, By giving a 1/2 of a thought you can call each other even.

There used to be an arbitrage opportunity in this disparity - a long time a ago when a shave and haircut still cost two bits. Now, however, even though most ideas are transferred electronically, they're still not worth the paper they're written on. Think about it - two thoughts from a half-wit aren't worth anything near one good idea. Tell you what - give me a dollar, and I'll make sure the buck stops here.

You start you bidding too cheap. My thoughts go for $1 a piece.

Thanks for the wonderful, thought provocative question.
If my two cents is not solicited, I do not give it...in this way..I get to keep/save/spend it in whatever way I see fit.
