The new Intel Macbooks are much better than the old ones. And you can run both Windows and OSX on the Macbook.

The Mac book would be by far the best. On the hardware front you get top of the line components at a cheaper price than other PC vendors. You also get a lot of nice built in features like the iSight camera in the lid. Thats just one example of many. But the real difference is the software. Mac OS X is years ahead of windows which is why Microsoft blatantly riped off OS X for windows vista. To see how badly vista rips off OS X check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsrKDBIs6hY With the Macbook you also get the iLife suite of applications which is the best in class, award winning software suite for free so you dont have to buy any extra software. You also dont have to buy any anti-virus or spyware programs because Mac OS X is built with security in mind on a rock solid Unix based foundation. And since all Apple computers now run with intel inside you can boot up windows (or linux) if you need to and that gives you the most software choice over any other type of computer. period. PC laptops might seem cheaper sometimes but when it comes to total cost of ownership, the Mac is much cheaper. You get a lot more value with the Mac

Mac costs much more and always did, that's why there are fewer users compared to a regular PC. PC users once they try a MAC they will switch over but a MAC lover is hooked for life because the new OS X systems are flawless and a dream to use with out faults of WINDOWS .... WINDOWS SUCKS BIG TIME !!!!!!!!

No question....Macs for somethings including user friendly and a greater capacity for RAM and some better graphics software no viruses or spyware.
Pc.s are sometimes faster have more gaming potential are virus and spyware prone.
No Contest......The new Macs run both OS X and Windows the best of both worlds........A few dollars more but well worth the expense.. My next computer!!

I truly have used both, yet I havent offered a Mac in 5 years and doubtless under no circumstances will back. they look nicer on the outdoors, yet are overpriced for what you get hardware-smart, restricted application availability, and restricted upgradeability
