YES.
Some people would say we are richer, others would say this is because we are as individuals highly in debt buying possessions that give us the allusion of wealth.
Our Government concerns itself more about developing third world countries than our own. This manifests itself in us having become a warehouse economy and no longer a manufacturer of goods. They have done little to stop the haemorrage of British manufacturers moving to those cheap labour countries to the detriment of the British worker.
They have thrown billions of pounds at services that show little improvement in the quality of those services. Yes their seems to be an improvement in the number of people passing exams but their seems no improvement in the intellectual capabilities of those achieving those passes. They have wasted millions on training medical staff who on completion of their training cannot get into the NHS because the service can't afford to employ them. They have spent millions on the Police who mainly seem to be doing what parents and teachers should be doing, or using them to raise even more revenue through their draconion blitz on drivers who drift a few miles over the speed limit.
They plan on extending the school leaving age to 18. For what end, the extra education will not be of any benefit because of the type of economy that we have become.
The softening of the laws on drug taking has turned a smallish and controllable problem into a major one whereby cannabis smoking (along with drink) is starting to have an impact on road accident statistics notwithstanding those smokers moving onto harder drugs.
In time the British public will come to realise what a disaster this Government has been but alas I think it will be too late the damage will have been done.

mr blair and mr bush are good polititian as far as i see, but the world has become so keen on getting the next vote, saying the correct things that some people are in despair. Can Scotland be broken off from the uk without a referendum, or is the may election the referendum, if so ,we should be told. also. why keep children at school until they are 18 to educate them? . The education system has been paid handsomely for the previous 13 years to educate them, which they do not do, what says they will do it then. the education system has failed the hoodies, and the less able, and teachers should remember that their students are there to be educated, if they cannot do it, they ken what to do.

Well I think we have been on the slippery slope since the end of WW2. It's all been swings and roundabouts along the way, but as a country we have never owed so much debt. The present Government is of very poor quality with too many ministers promoted above their own ability. I don't think we've ever had such a low quality government that says one thing and changes it's mind two minutes later and it's happening all the time. They really are a bunch of incompetent amateurs. They don't appear to know what they are doing at the moment it's quite frightening really. They constantly attempt to dream up new ideas, it's like a dog chasing it's tail going round and round in circles going nowhere. They are so desperate for cash they are now constantly dreaming up new ways in which to tax us because of their incredibly stupid over spending. They can't seem to help themselves, spend, spend, spend with very little to show in a lot of areas. I could go on but..........I'll only depress myself

you're ideal about Hoover... He made the melancholy a lot worse. for the period of confusing circumstances, credit needs to bypass somewhat than be constrained with the intention to provide a develop. a minimum of that's cutting-edge philosophy... it would want to perchance convey about better strengthen/bust cycle fluctuations. however it is the present view. i believe Hoover might want to flow down as between the most inept in hindsight. Woodrow Wilson changed into extraordinarily undesirable to boot, bringing southern racial politics to Washington at a time at the same time as the country would have made some advances in that regard.. he set us decrease back many years in words of civil rights and equality. And he changed into extraordinarily dense.. A president of a college who did not favor to study. Hmm. the present pres has to make the record. commonly we see ineptitude, yet there is silver lining someplace. The communicate is likewise commonly real.

No more or less than any other. They have been the first to use spin so successfully. I don't believe a word that they say!! The schools haven't changed, the NHS hasn't changed, The gap between the rich and poor has grown, the poor are now poorer than they were. But who's to say we would have been better off under the Tories.

The answer to this question is far too complex to be answered with a few sentences here. Think of it as a ball of twine a mile long and hopelessly knotted. I'll pass on this one.

If you're talking about the UK, it was sold off to the highest bidder under the Thatcher government. Anything with the word British in front of it (ie owned by the British people) was auctioned off under the 'shares for all' campaign. As for the current Government (and many local councils), it continues the trend of disillusioning voters by ignoring them and seeking to serve their own needs; pay rises, increased expenses and ridiculous pension settlements all out of the public coffers. Destroy your ballot paper by writing 'none of the above' on it.

Yes I think, it would be possible to repair but it would take to long, so we should charge all of them with war crimes and crimes against humanity and execute them.Let them be judged by their own hypocrisy. Bird crap in the hand is worth more than a Bush.
