Run them through the dishwasher. The hot water will disinfect them and still make them safe for baby. Also there is a new bleach product (I think it's clorox) that is for surfaces anywhere and safe for children's toys, etc.

I put any stuffed animal or doll that doesn't have an electronic part (like a paw you squeeze to play some music) in the washing machine. Get one of those mesh bags for the washing machine that you put lingerie in and put all of your small toys in it. I'll even wash some of the hard plastic toys this way. I'll also put the hard plastic toys in the dishwasher. If it is a toy you can't wash either of these ways. I'd surface wash it with ivory and water for the fabric and the plastic toys or lemon juice for the plastic toys (it's not sticky without sugar in it).

something new i'm getting that should be sterilised (like small plastic products) I stick them interior the sterilizer when I first get them - a dishwasher will sterilise too, in the different case I boil water and placed them in that for 5 minutes to do the same aspect. i recognize i'd be paranoid yet hi there, it provides me peace of ideas! Afterthat I in simple terms wash them up like something else in the journey that they fall or were eaten for an afternoon or 2! at times i am going to apply dettol on surfaces or to sparkling off plastic mats/bath toys etc that is what we've continuously used dilluted to sparkling nursery kit etc - it truly is a antiseptic disinfectant yet you are able to bathe in it - i does not use usual bleach even watered down yet that is in simple terms me. i'm not* confident in case you'll get that in usa regardless of the reality that yet when not there is guaranteed to be something else.

I work in day care and we clean the toys with a bleach solution. It's a half of cup of bleach to a gallon of water. Wash the toys off with the solution then rinse with warm/hot clean water and let air dry over night.

Anything that can go into the dishwasher..including anything plastic...everything else, maybe washing machine. Tea tree oil is a good topical surface wash, but soap and water is just fine...rinse well and baby will have no ill effects

Washing them like dishes should be fine, you don't need hospital grade sterilization for your baby's toys.

Granted you shower and wash your hands, but you don't sterilize yourself before coming in contact with your child....
