I think he just likes to feel important when in reality he is an intellectual non-entity.
If the Bush administration asked him if they could steal candy from babies, Biden would approve it and thank them for asking permission.

Sounds to me like he is saying congress is going to do their job, oversight. What is so controversial about that? It has been way to long since this President has been challenged about anything. I for one am happy he told Secretary of State Rice exactly what will happen. Now the ball is in the President's court.

I don't see anything controversial in the comments. This is one of the things the congress is charged with doing. There ARE checks and balances on all three branches of our government. We end up in situations like we are now when these checks and balances are ignored or disregarded.
