The only way to speed up Internet access is to get a higher bandwidth connection.

The browser you use won't make a lot of difference. Firefox loads some pages a bit faster for me, but is MUCH slower than IE to load the first page when I launch it initially. It's also better at opening tabbed pages than IE-7. It does have some compatibility issue though, so I usually use both Firefox and IE.

Nope.. not even net accelerators if you don't have the speed to start with you get a better speed. What is even worse is nights and high traffic times the servers get bogged down.Browsers I would say doesn't really matter but however since I installed I E 7 it seems that my Firefox browser is faster..I would try different ones on peak hours to see if it really makes a difference but general rule of thumb is the internet provider speed and peak speed they can provide especially during peak hours..

Yes I guess Mozilla Firefox is faster than Internet Explorer, but know something, there is no software that can speed up your internet connection, only can optimize your transfers or use the whole connection if you are sharing it with somebody, but there is no software can make your connection faster than your limit :)

just use a registry cleaner software and clean up the registry of ur pc ....
also use a pop up blocker program ... or u can also disable all the pop ups from ur Browser (check the internet properties of ur browser and click on the option of "Block al pop-ups")
