A yeast infection is an opportunistic infection when the normal flora yeast in the woman's vagina has basically become overpopulated. It can't make the chances of conceiving a baby less and it definitely does not cause birth defects. A woman who has a yeast infection should not be having sex anyway while she has the infection since she can pass it along to her partner and if she gets better and her partner still has the yeast infection, he can transmit it back to her.

No, a yeast infection is a common thing that can be triggered by anything like taking antibiotics, certain fabrics, detergents and on and on. but it will not cause any birth defects. this doesn't normally take long to clear up with the proper cream/meds, only 3-7days.

to add, having sex during a yeast infection will take longer to clear up because of bacteria feeding into the yeast. therefore unprotected sex is not a good thing until it's cleared away.

no because it is an infection that affects the outer part of the vagina but not the uterus which well protected.

once the egg becomes an hembrion the uterus is about the safest place a human being can stay in...no infection can come trough from the outside much less a yeast infection

if a woman has a yeast infection she should not be having sex. it will not stop her from getting pregnant but if she has an infection of any kind and is not treating it what does say about her
