heres the problem...i have an english summative next monday....how do i write a good essay?...for me...writing essays is extremely difficult...i wrote an essay that i spent sooo much time on...but i still only got a 70 on it....WTF??!....plz help

Detail #1: they are good friends.
Detail #2: they are playful
Detail #3: they are cute.

so right there you have your 3 paragraphs that will make up the body of the essay. that's just the plaing, when you start the final draft you start with an intruduction:

"I love animals, but my favorite are dogs. I love dogs because the are good friends. Not only they are good friends but they are really playful. Other than that they are so CUTE. Those three details make dogs the best animal in the world."

So that one would be your introduction, five sentences and you just put WHY dogs are your favorite animals. Then you start paragraph 2, that will talk ONLY about how they are good friends.
The third paragraph will ONLY talk about how playful they are.
The third paragraph will ONLY talk about how cute they are.
And your concluding paragraph is going t be like a little summary about the whole essay. (don't forget to use transition words, teachers LOVE that. ex: first, finally, however)

I think the best thing for you to do is get as much answers from your teacher about what he/she wants in the essay even if it seems like you're bothering them all the time
