Yes, your blu ray disc works on it, a blu ray dics is an all new kind of small disc, most of the new cds are blu ray. The blu ray discs are smaller dvd cds that are high definition. The only console that has it is the ps3, plus you can play your normal dvd's and cd's on your ps3.

the blue ray is disk only for ps3 that si HD as the dude before me said
it is high definition through your ps3 instead of a blue ray player
