Well ya might like not this but, I never celebrated Valentine's day.I guess it's because of my mother's opinion of mother's day. She felt that there shouldn't be a day set aside for mom with a present. If you love me try to do little things all year 'round to show the love, she said.
That's the way I feel about Valentine's day. Show that love in little ways every day,ie.when you have an argument bite that lip instead of saying something nasty, sarcastic. Just say,I love you ,maybe in the middle of a sentence or when it's not expected/. It will mean much more than the flowers, card ,yeah, even the special sex that was set aside for the SHOW ME YA LOVE ME DAY .What about the other364 days?

It was cute, and romantic. I left my wife a dozen red roses and chocolates spread around the house so she would find them as: she made a cup of tea, checked the answering machine, got changed etc etc.

Unfortunately, she found number 12 when she got in to bed. Perhaps I should have got thornless ones.

My daughter's boyfriend sprinkled chocolate kisses on the floor from her bedroom (while she was alseep) leading into the bathroom. He placed a dozen red roses in a huge vase in the Shower with the curtain open and a sign on the back wall that said: I will kiss the ground you walk on and shower you with roses if you'll be my valentine!
